Our Music Ministries include:

  • Chancel Choir: This choral ensemble sings at the 11:00 am Traditional worship September through early June. We rehearse on Wednesday nights from 7:30 - 9:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Open to any adults interested in singing sacred music, we sing everything from early chant through and including music composed in the 21 st century year.  Highpoints of the year include the Tenebrae, Easter, and Advent services when we use all choirs and musicians to worship God.
  • Praise Team: Known as "Tapestry", this ensemble is comprised of volunteer singers that enjoy praising God with contemporary music. We rehearse in the Sanctuary on Monday evenings 7:00 - 8:30 pm, and rehearsals are open to anyone interest in singing. Tapestry sings weekly at the 9:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship service throughout the year.
  • Praise Band: Comprised of volunteer musicians from our congregation, we are blessed to have many talented members offering their service to God each week through music and song. This includes a drummer, a bassist, a lead guitar, and keyboard accompaniment.
          • Clarion Ringers: The Clarion Ringers handbell choir is our intermediate to advanced handbell choir ringing five octaves of Schulmerich Handbells. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings in the Choir Room 6:00 - 7:15 pm and ring throughout the year. Open to anyone with bell ringing experience, we perform a wide variety of musical styles.  Beginners  are welcome.
  • Voices of Cana: Youth from grades 6-12 are invited to join our new youth choir 'Voices of Cana". Our music is fresh and upbeat, as we come together for fun and fellowship on Sunday afternoons 5:00 - 6:15pm, rehearsing in the Sanctuary. We sing several times throughout the year at the 9:30 and 11:00 am services.  Voices of Cana held an original dinner theater production " Choices" in May to raise money to fund their trip to the Montreat Worship and Music conference this summer in June.
